Everyone wants a piece of Jensen and he rarely gives them a piece. He is a TOTAL mama's boy. He is so clingy it's crazy. Grandpa was thrilled to be holding Jensen for once. He wasn't screaming and we were impressed.

Another lucky winnner....Mary. He had a fun time with Mary. She even got some good smiles and laughs out of him for us all. It was sooo cute.

We all gathered together at my parents place after church. It was so nice to see all of our loved ones in one place for Sam. It was the perfect day and he did so well in his talk. We'll so miss him. He is the most tender and thoughtful brother. We adore him.

When we took Spencer to the MTC almost two years ago we borrowed President Christiensens 16 passenger van. It was a riot having us all together in one vehicle and we were quite the sight. We held true to the tradition once again and piled into his large white van this time. We received many laughs and stares while driving to lunch and then the MTC. It was so hilarious!

These three were in the very back of the van. This van has 4 full bench seats in the back. Crazy huh?

Sam chose to eat the Brick Oven before being dropped off for two whole years. We had a whole entire room to ourselves and enjoyed super yummy pizza and salads. Is Sam not the most handsome missionary ever?!

Since you can no longer go into the MTC with your missionary these days we go to the Provo Temple Grounds first to spend some last minutes together. All of the other families with missionaries leaving soon were there hugging, kissing and crying and we were just having a blast laughing and playing softball. Yeah, not normal right? We'd already had our emotional three days with the kid and we were all ready to send him off. He was soo ready to go too! We're all just so excited for him. We know he'll be amazing.

This is just a little shot of what Sam had to go through first in order to get one good picture with my two kiddos. He was laughing pretty hard. Jensen was fighting to the death to get down and away. Remember, he LOVES his mama.

It's crazy to think that when Sam returns in two years Danielle will be married to Bobby, living in DC and maybe have a baby too.

Mary just got braces the other day, and when Sam returns she'll no longer have them, but two straight rows of lovely white teeth. She's already counting down the days the poor girl.

Sam and all his ladies.

The two most important people in Sams life, mom and dady. What a wonderful day for them. They raised a beautiful and valiant son.
He's gone and it's really hard to believe. I keep thinking about him in the MTC hoping he's okay. I know he is, but I just worry. I wonder what he's thinking, doing, feeling.....He'll only be in the MTC for three weeks and then he'll head off to the West Indies. He'll be speaking English and sweating his guts out. He basically can't eat most the food there because it'll make him very sick, so we're all praying for him to be healthy and well while there for two whole years. He is beyond excited yet nervous too. He is embarking on a grand adventure and is thrilled to be serving the Lord. We support and love him 100% and think it's kind of cool that we have two Elders now out in the field. Spencer and Sam are amazing examples to me. They're good through and through, and they have strong, firm testimonies of the gospel. I love them and miss them greatly. I know they'll do well serving the Lord and that they're happy to do it. There is no place they'd rather be. The church is true and how lucky we are to have it.
